I haven’t written anything in a while; after I left Japan I went back to my normal job in the UK and I didn’t really think anyone would be interested in reading about the minutiae of my regular life. Plus I was probably seeing most people who were reading it anyway!

Two weeks ago I left my job of 5 years in the UK and moved to New Jersey so I’ve decided that probably qualifies as interesting enough material to start writing again.
